Your Sabani tour begins at Itoman's Sabani base, where you meet your local guide and get an introduction to the history of Okinawan wooden boats. Learn about the unique craftsmanship behind Sabani building and the cultural heritage it represents. Before sailing out, you receive a safety briefing and take time to familiarize with the equipment. The experience starts with a bit of paddling before raising the sail to experience the Sabani as it was meant to move. Depending on the weather, the tour includes a visit to an uninhabited island for exploration and quiet moments in untouched nature.
